WHY RPM?

Remote patient monitoring (RPM) is a type of telehealth in which healthcare providers monitor patients outside the traditional care setting using digital technology, such as weight scales, blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, and blood glucose meters. The data collected from these devices are then electronically transferred to providers for care management. With it comes convenience and improved access, thus reducing the need to take time off work, secure child care or elder care and find transportation.

The H.E.R. Health Equity Platform powered by GTS VirtualHealth, paired with connected devices, provides a highly secure, convenient and cost-effective health equity solution.  The Platform:

  • Enables video conferencing using HIPAA compliant video.
  • Operates on any IOS, Android, or Windows device.
  • Allows for integration of and data capture from any Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi, or Cloud-based medical device.
  • Allows seamless data flow into most EMRs/EHRs.
  • Enables secure transmission of medical images and data for diagnosis, education, advocacy, prevention and promotion of healthy behavior.
  • Enables digital doulas to offer emotional, education and advocacy for pregnant women.
With the H.E.R. Health Equity Platform, H.E.R.’s clients can connect, engage, educate, and monitor streamed vital data from underserved patients to improve health equity.
